The Samsung E570 is the latest addition to the La Fleur
collection. This petite clamshell is the successor of Samsung
E530 whose prototype was called Aqua. The Samsung E570 is
positioned as a women range flagship model. From designing
aesthetics to certain tools and applications - this phone is
most likely to be popular among the fairer sex. Colour solutions
available for the handset are Sweet pink, Festival orange,
Metallic blue, Special silver and Viola black.
The handset's dimensions - 86 x 45 x 24 mm, and its weight of
mere 81 grams, makes it easily slip into any pocket or even wear
it round one's neck using a strap. Its glossy texture and oval
shape makes the Samsung E570 look like a jewel. A black glossy
plastic framing that protects the external OLED mono display is
quite successfully disguised as a design element to the phone.
Opening it reveals the keypad and lights up the 1.8 inch primary
internal screen - TFT based, 65k colour deliverable. The
navigation keys, call keys and soft keys are coloured silver
while the numeric keys retains uniformity with the colour of the
casing.
The Samsung E570 feature many innovations in mobile phone
manufacturing and programs. Their security feature 'Mobile
Tracker' is a great way to hunt down your mobile phone if it is
lost or stolen. As mentioned above, since it is primarily
targeted at women, a whole new menu titled 'Women's Life' is
incorporated to the device. Tools and applications for women to
help them selecting the perfect fragrance, find out their health
condition, height-weight ratio, amount of calories burnt,
circulation of menstrual cycle and even help them with their
shopping list.
The Samsung E570 features a 1.3 megapixel camera that is
equally apt for videos or still photography. The triband GSM
supporting handset can connect to the Internet using its
embedded GPRS and EDGE technologies. Talk, surf, shoot or
